Photographer Holly Spring created a series of dreamy portraits to celebrate the girl and her strength in the face of some unexpected health problems that left the girl without a fully-formed left hand.
Hoping for life in an Auckland Hospital, it was at that this stage when her mother realized just how fragile her daughter’s life was, so she began documenting it using a DSLR received from her husband.
Her whimsical and imaginative portrait series of her daughter are inspiring. Her photos won the NZIPP/Epson Iris Portrait Creative Photographer of the Year award in 2014.
